It’s Christmas time! Christmas time is here! Typically during this time I would be at home with my family giving and receiving gifts. But this year I am in Beijing hiding from the smog thinking about what would happen if I were back at home. I miss getting the gifts although some are better than others. So here are the types of gifts I get during Christmas:

Fruit Cake
Cake is delicious right? But this cake is not. This is the only cake in the world that is not good. It is more of a brick than food. It is the thought that counts though although can the person giving you the gift think of a better food to give that you can actually eat?

Coal
According to tradition if you’re a bad kid you get coal. For some reason I always got one box of coal…..so maybe that was because I was bad a little bit during the year?

Sweater
I usually get an ugly sweater from my aunt. And in order to be nice I wear I for the rest of the day to make my aunt happy. The next day I put it in my closet and make sure it is buried for the rest of the year.

Tech Gift
This gift makes up for the other gifts. In fact it makes suffering from the last gifts worth it. This year it could have been an Apple Watch which looks really cool and useful!
