Where on the deck my Captain lies,
Fallen cold and dead.

Rise up -for you the flag is flung -for you the bugle trills,

我们的船长不作回答，他的双唇惨白、寂静，
我的父亲不能感觉我的手臂，他已没有脉搏、没有生命，
我们的船已安全抛锚碇泊，航行已完成，已告终，
胜利的船从险恶的旅途归来，我们寻求的已赢得手中。
欢呼，哦，海岸！轰鸣，哦，洪钟！
可是，我却轻移悲伤的步履，
在甲板上，那里躺着我的船长，

1.涂涂哥读得相当有感情，在诗歌每个部分都采用了恰当的情感和音调，或平静中不乏气势，或恢宏中透着柔和。
2.我个人认为这应该是正确朗读本诗的音调，一般认为它是惠特曼为纪念林肯而写，后来也有人用于纪念麦哲伦。今天我想把自己独特的看法在视频中透露出来。
3.我认为本诗强调了一种敢于献身于危难的奉献气象，是一种对诗中客体“船长”的怀想与崇敬，本文采用的依然是主体为第一人称的常用诗歌行文方式，也是惠特曼《草叶集》的代表作。
