On Day 1, we studied noun intonation together, and today we are going to study pronoun compared with noun intonation. First read the following two samples. Then play the audios behind them and see if you read them correctly.

Now you have read the two samples, so you've probably noticed the difference between noun intonation and pronoun intonation. Yes, we stressed nouns, when we read the first sentence of each sample, which is noun intonation and verb the second, which is pronoun intonation.
现在读完了这两个范例，你很可能已经注意到代词语调和名词语调之间的区别。是的，每个范例中的前一个句子，重读名词，这是名词语调；而每个范例的第二句，重读动词，这是代词语调。
