1.look at 朝着xxx看，看向xxxx
Don't move! The teacher is looking at us.别动，老师正盯着我们呢。

2.look after 照顾
She is looking after her sister at home. 她在家照顾她的妹妹呢。

3.look for 寻找
I am looking for my key. 我在找我的钥匙。

4. look up 向上看；查（单词）
I will look up the words in the dictionary. 我一会儿去词典里查一下那些单词。

5. look out 小心
Look out !There is a dog. 小心，有条狗！

6. look out of 从xxx看出去
If you look out of the window you will see many birds. 从窗户看出去，你会看到很多的小鸟。

7. look through 仔细浏览，翻阅
Look through the bookthen you will know the answer. 仔细看看这本书，然后你就会有答案。

8. look on...as 把某人看作
I look on him as my best friend.我把他看作我最好的朋友。

9.look over 仔细检查;翻阅。
The doctor is busy now. She will look you over later.医生正忙呢，稍后会给你全面检查。

10. look down on 看不起
Don’t look down on the poor.不要看不起贫穷的人。

11.look forward to doing 盼望
I am looking forward to visiting my grandma. 我盼望可以去看奶奶。

12. look into 向xxx里面看；调查
The policemen are looking into the crime. 警察正在调查那个案件。

13. look back on 回想，回顾
They often look back on the days they spent together. 他们常回顾他们在一起度过的日子。

14. look like 看起来像
The little girl looks like her mother. 那个小女孩很像她妈妈。

15. look ahead 预测，计划未来
