我们首先来回忆一下这首插曲的剧情：第一季11集Elena在Stefan房间发现Katherine照片，伤心之下独自开车撞上吸血鬼出了车祸，Damon即时赶到救下E顺便“劫持”E去见老情人Bree（女巫），在酒吧外遭遇Lexi男友复仇，E苦苦哀求最终Lexi男友放过了D，但Damon这个容忍不了背叛的男人在离开之前掏出了老情人Bree的心脏。
而Damon怒气满溢进入酒吧质问Bree直到杀害Bree期间，酒吧里就放着这首Only One。

Stefan曾说过Damon这个人，He doesn't get mad he just gets even。（他不会生气，他只会报复。）这个时候的他偏执、为爱疯狂、等待了146年想要救出爱人，已经容忍不了任何失败和背叛了，Bree的做法无疑踩中了他的雷区。于是Damon说着"My dear sweet Bree. That's why I'm almost Sorry"，然后掏出了Bree的心脏。有这么一句话，你对她有多深情，对我就有多无情，大概是此时Bree的心声了。
值得一提的是Lexi男朋友这个角色，出场短短几分钟，真真是把一个失去挚爱，绝望、愤怒、哀伤、无措的可怜男人演绎得淋漓尽致，预测此人会红！😍
