真的是很平淡的一天：读论文，写代码，去实验室，去tire store订轮胎

下午去STS Tire & Auto Center订轮胎。大多数轮胎店都只有很少的现货，所以需要预订，然后商店会从仓库或其他渠道提货出来。

一个美国大叔接待的我，在沟通好基本信息之后，大叔开始推荐轮胎

他：We have tire A, we have tire B, we have…
我会让他宰吗？当然是事先做了功课的，于是掏出一张纸来递给他
我：hold on, do u have any of these four?
大叔沉默了一下，开始认真地在系统里查信息，给我报价——每个轮胎都报价120刀！而一些网上商店只要不到100刀（因为配送太慢，所以没在网买）
我：It seems they are much more expensive than in Walmart.
他：This is already the sale price.
我：（鬼才信你）but I can get one from walmart for less than 100.
他：We can match the price for you if you evidence, do u have the invoice?
我：（有invoice我还来你这干什么）well, we can check on walmart.com, it sells tire X for $96.
他：但是要加运费啊，加上运费也要120
我：It can be shipped to local store for free.
他：（沉默中）
我：OK, just tell me what's the lowest price you can offer.
他：alright, I can do tire X for $99, is it alright?
我：成交！
他：If you decide to take it, you should call me by 5:30 so that we will get it tomorrow. （这也是挺有意思的一点，他给我时间考虑……难道是让我货比三家，好知道他们家价格有多低？😥）
我：不用了，我要了

然后开始登记信息……我拼自己的名字，他听了两遍都听错也是醉了……以及第一次听到这么奇怪的口音——大叔一直把s读成/esh/
