有人扮成呆萌的公仔熊、有人上演二次元Cosplay、有人长袍加身盘腿打坐、还有人手握水杯低头不语……第二届国际发呆大赛在北京世贸天阶举行。

Eighty people competed in the Second International Space-out Competition held in one of the most vibrant shopping streets in Beijing —— The Place —— near China World Trade Center.
During the competition, people were required to sit still for 2 hours, oblivious to the distractions of their surroundings.
The organizers said everyday rhythm of people's lives becomes faster, and such a competition would be an opportunity to relax.

第二届国际发呆大赛在北京世贸天阶举行，共有80名参赛者。世贸天阶毗邻中国国际贸易中心，是北京最热闹的购物街之一。
比赛期间，参赛者需要静坐2小时，而且不受周围环境的干扰。
大赛主办方表示，人们的日常生活节奏日益加快，这样的比赛不失为一个放松自己的契机。

文中的International Space-out Competition就是“国际发呆大赛”的意思，其中competition是名词，意为“比赛，竞赛”，多指体育、知识、技巧等方面的竞赛，如：music competition （音乐比赛），open competition （公开赛）；而match通常指体育运动项目的比赛，如：The match ended in a tie. （比赛打成了平局。）
