Alaçatı is a unique Mediterranean town on the west coast of Turkey, which has a history of more than 150 years.
Before the exchange of population between Greece and Turkey, Muslim refugees from Greece settled there. Since then, Alaçatı plague has been used in towns and port areas. The port area was the export port of Izmir until World War II.The town is famous for its buildings, vineyards and windmills and it's sports of the windsurfing and kitesurfing. On average, 300 days a year, the water is clear and the breeze dawns, it has the highly acclaimed Turkish hotel. Alaçatı is one of Turkey's most authentic towns, with stone houses, narrow streets, boutique hotels and street dining tables. It also has plenty of nightlife, and the night market on the beach is open until morning.
